I know the 4wd lights flash a code and I have replaced a transfer case control module on one before but as for the clunk and engine dying maybe it is a combination of more than one problem

Start with changing the fuel filter. If that doesn't do it, then change the fuel pump.

SOURCE: 1989 Dodge Raider

If you are getting power to anything else (such as the interior light) then this isn't your fix but, I had a similar issue where by 88 Raider ran fine but then would quit. I tested the battery and it was fine. However, the connectors for the battery were bad and weren't holding tight. I found it by pushing on the battery and one of the terminals just lifted off. Lucky is better than good sometimes.

SOURCE: 94 Chevy 1500 truck, seems to be getting fuel,

These sometimes have problems with the magnet on the distributor shaft loosing magnetism. This causes the pickup coil not to be able to produce a strong enough signal for the ignition module and the engine dies because of no spark.

Engine died while driving, no spark, replaced coil, now starts, idles, runs well at low rpm, but misfires when accelerating. No check engine costs thrown. What should I check next.

Change your ignition module. The distributor is a weak point of the Honda, I will always change out the whole thing than just try the coil.

Check for fuel pressure and check for spark during the no start condition. Also check the crank sensor, it is located behind the crank pulley mounted in the engine block on the 4.3 L engine
I hope this helps.

fuel pumps are notorious for self fixing, usually towing the vehicle is enough to make it work again, they develop a flat spot in the armature and vibration usually makes it work but eventually it will die altogether

Engine will not start

Most likely the fuel pump has failed, check the pressure while someone cranks the engine over.
