Evaporative purge solenoid wouldn't cause lack of power , You have plugged catalytic converter . Have exhaust system back pressure tested .

When i accelerate my engine back fires and wont go. but sometimes if i accelerate hard it will take off and when i ease on gas it start to deccelerate and slow down again


I would start with checking the plugs, wires, coil packs. If you haven't had a tune up in a while it will never hurt to replace these. Also check and clean throttle body. Check all around your intake manifold at each vacuum line for cracks and or leaks. May also be your catalytic converter. Does it run fine in park and neutral but have a loss of power in gear. Hope this helps

If it runs rough all the time, could be a bad coil pack/wires. If just starting and hesitates on acceleration, I would suspect the throttle position sensor.

Car is sluggish and tends to bog down during hard


Could be several possibilities none of which I may be able to eliminate:
1. Tune-up!  You are not getting enough spark or Fuel!  Plug-wires may be cross-firing or bad ground from body to the engine - run a new ground wire to engine from battery or body-ground.
2. Replace fuel filter or do fuel pressure test to determine if f-pump is weak or lodged with corrosion or dirt particles.
3. replace plugs and wires and clean coil-pack ignition module (where plug wires originate from) use a brake-cleaner or throttle-body cleaner but be sure fumes are evaporated and dry before starting or spark could cause explosion from fumes. Oil on module could cause spark to jump.  Do not run plug wires along each other or will jump spark, wires must be crossed once or twice for prevention of this.\
4. check all vacuum lines around engine - a cracked vacuum line can cause a lot of problems.
5. injectors may be dirty or bad - easier to replace complete intake from scrap-yard then to pay $100.00 for new injectors each!
6. Coil-pack on ignition module could be cracked and may need to be replaced.
These are only possibilities of course with the little info you provided.

How replace coil packs and spark plugs


Replace the plugs and wires (one at a time) to avoid getting the firing order out of sequence. The coil pack the same way. Most of these have clips on the side or either bolts that hold them on. If you do one at a time you'll have no problems.

Rough idling and accelerating after recent tune-up. Cool Pack needed say shop


Best thing to do is go to Auto Zone or Parts Source and have the computer scanned for DTC codes. 
The codes will give you a better understanding why the car is running the way it is and what parts you need to replace if any.
The cool thing is that they will scan for free and give you the how to do it your self it you decide to change the parts your self.
Good luck and hope this helps. It may not be your coil packs, it may just be bad plug wires or dirty fuel injectors.
