I don't think we have that model in N America. Try YouTube...In the search box type: replace axle on 2004 ba xr6 falcon. You should see some relevant Videos. I guess it's an Australin model. Guys with Aussie accents.

seems that taillights and dash lights are on the same circuit, they did that years ago so that if your dash lights went out you knew that you had no taillights, chech the grounds for the taillights, and check for voltage at the socket, from there its a search for broken wires
