Lights, radio and powerdoor locks work, turn key to start car nothing happens

If you had said the radio did not work, I would say it was the key switch or a large fuse or fuseable link.
But the radio is powered thru the key switch.
The problem could still be the key switch or a major fuse, I would check all of the fuses then power at the key switch.
Also check the ground connections.

Need to find out why the radio, guages, and speedometer all just quit, have checked all fuses. Did troublshooting online and it tells me it could be the voltage regulator or the engine temp sensor. I dont...

Start with verifying that the fuses are indeed GETTING power to them and they are indeed good. Use a test light to check fuses. When the engine is running, gently turn the ignition key either way and see if they come to life, if so, the ignition switch is bad. The Voltage Regulator or Temp sensor have absolutely NOTHING to do with your problem.

Sir,
It's probably the brake lights that are staying on, check again, if the brake lights are staying on the brake light switch needs to be replaced. The reason I believe it's the brake lights is that they will turn on even with the key off so make sure which lights are staying on.
