Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Rough idle, staling, back fire after shutting motor off. normal idle is about 500 RPM, but will drop to 100 or less when stopped at lights. Placing it in park and turning the air off clears the problem, any ideas????
Its a 2005 small V8 with 31,000 miles
You are going to need to do some testing to find this...first thing I'd look at is to check for any intake or vacuum line leaks, then check map sensor and tps. I can only offer a good guess, as I too would need to do testing before offering anything better. You can get test info in most inexpensive manuals.
