About 95% of the time it is a bad set of brushes in the window drive motor. They are 4mm X 4mm X about 8mm long with a side connection to the pig tail wire and spade lug. Problem is they won't sell you a replacement brush set. Although it is a little tricky to install a modified replacement brush, it can be done for less that a couple of bucks. First remove the side panel on the door (See one of many how to's.) Then free up window drive motor from its mount. Then turn up -right and remove 2 phillips screws on motor housing being carefull not to lost the two nuts..Pull off the motor housing. Remove the motor shaft winding from housing. Install the new brushes being careful not to lose the pressure springs. Reinsert the drive shaft without housing and carefully press brushes back against pressure springs to allow the shaft to twist into place (ccw). While holding with a small screwdriver so shaft cannot be pulled out by magnetic force, carefully slide on housing and align to reassemble. Make sure you did not dislodge brushes. Pull out small screwdriver and shove housing all the way on. Another way to retain brush springs compressed is to use fish leeder to hold brushes open until housing is about in place. Reconnect plugs and test window before putting all back together.

Otherwise you have to replace the whole window regulator at about $50 on ebay or several hundred $ at the shop.
Hope this helps. kcar11705@yahoo.com

Open the passenger side door & wiggle the harness while pressing the button. If it works then there's a broken wire inside the rubber harness. If not check the passenger side switch for power. Use a test light to verify it switches from up to down. If it doesn't replace the switch.

1999 Dodge Grand Caravan Front Passenger works sometimes and Passenger Rear vent does not work

Try changing the door switch. It should be a relatively easy fix if that is the problem.

Right front door window will not roll down.

Assuming it's electric, it could be the switch or the window motor/regulator. If possible try swapping the driver's side switch to the passenger's. If it works - switch, if it doesn't, most likely the window motor, located behind the door panel.

Its a 2000 se passenger window trys to roll down but will not and back vent windows will not open

Sounds like bad master switch in the drivers door or the wiring in that door jamb. Try holding the control to move the vent window while moving the rubber containing the wiring to the door with the door open if something moves back there its a wire ready to break. if so pull the boot and check/repair the wire

The passenger rear window won't roll up or down from the drivers controle it clicks in the passenger front door. it will roll down in the passenger rear door but not up. the window modulator rolls up and...

I have the exact same problem on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004. The rear passenger window rolls down only from the rear passenger window and won't go up or down from the front. It has to be in the wiring because the problem was intermittent initially and a new window motor does the exact same thing. If you figured it out or have the wiring diagram please let me know.

Passenger window is locked and will not roll down , is there a switch under the steering wheel ????

no there is no switch under the steering wheel. if the window no longer goes down from either switch then you have a bad window motor or a bad master switch in the drivers door

Window wont roll down

The regulator is burnt out and you need a new one. I would just replace it.

Passenger side window won't roll up using the driver's side switc

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
