There is no "radio" fuse.

The radio gets its power from the "ACC" fuse and the "DOME" fuse. Each one is on a different fuse box. If the dome light works its not that fuse. If the shift lock and cigarette lighter work its not the ACC fuse.

01 tacoma radio wont power on

Hi Tony.

Toyota really could use some help in making manuals be a little less insulting and useless. that said, I found this
http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM35766U/pdf/01omsour/2001/01tacoma/8.pdf
look on page 10 (as seen by a PDF viewer, manual page 288),, Down in the fine print, it lists the last thing hooked to Fuse 20 as 'car audio system' . There's a picture there to guide you to where fuse 20 is.

Good Luck!

CANT FIND FUSE FOR 2001 TOYOTA TACOMA RADIO

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the radio fuse it should be around 15 amps.

Radio wont work

Hi,
No power? If so, you might look at your owner's manual to determine where the fuse box is located, and check the fuse for the radio. Hopefully this will be a quick fix for you. Hope this helped...

hi friend,

There is many reason, check fuse, check amplifier and check head unit. Otherwise install an aftermarket radio probably the best thing to do. Pretty simple follow this link http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Toyota-Wiring.pdf

Navigation, radio, and clock not coming on?

Why did you replace the lighter fuse in the first place - something may have shorted something out? when you put in the new fuse does it blow right away? make sure the fuse is the correct amp for that spot. also check all the fuses - sometimes there can be more than one fuse that controls many items such as radio, nav, and lights.to answer your questions though no it cant really be anything else than a short blowing a fuse. you just have to find which fuse it is and where the short could be.
