Easiest way is with the stuff they sell at auto parts stores, you can get it in a kit, with the light, dye, and glases, its seems complicated but its fairly easy. Just follow the instructions on the kit and you shold find it in no time. It is most likley the high or low side port (where you add freon) and that is an easy fix, it looks like the core from a tire's valve stem, (also at auto parts stores). Well hope this helps!

My 1995 Jeep Cherokee is leaking fuel from gas tank. What would cause it leak? 2WD

My first guess would be a crack or hole in the tank if it leaks with the engine off.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. power stearing leaks

Many times if it's a small leak, a good product such as Lucas steering sealer will help. Don't expect the leak to stop immediately though as the seals take time to swell. If the leak is from a hose, the only way to fix it is by replacement. There is a lot of pressure in there and anything else will not work.
If the seal leak is large, additive may slow it down but that too would need replacement.

1998 jeep grans cherokee leaking water in the

Hi Vichall,

The first step is to locate the leak and identify the source.

Pull the rug back. Dry the area. This will help locate new moisture.

  • Is the water clear? Does it smell sweet?
  • Does it only leak with the engine running? After Turned off? All the time?
  • Does it only leak with the heater on? A/C on?
  • Is your coolant level down?
  • Is their a time of day it happens more? (Early morning)
Comment back with your findings. We can take it from there

Best regards

88 Jeep Cherokee Transmission Fluid Leak

you need to tighten those fittings with a wrench... if they still leak... remove them and wrap them with a couple turns of "teflon tape" the kind they use for plumbing. the clamps you should use are hose clamps of the same type that you use for radiator hoses... you will note these can be tightened with a socket.... you really don't need to over tighten them but fairly snug... transmission fluid has quite alot of pressure.
