It is probably a wheel sensor. Any local parts store should be able to hook it to a computer and get the code and turn off your light. Hopefully the code will tell you which sensor is bad. Hope this helps...

My break light keeps coming on

You are low on brake fluid, the handbrake is engaged, or the switch on the handbrake needs to be looked at. If it is the ABS light, there is a problem with the ABS system. The brakes will still work fine, you'll just have regular brakes with no ABS.

My ABS light came on in my 99 honda accord what does it mean?

Normally when your abs light comes on, that is referring to your breaks. This could be low break fluid, leak in break hose somewhere, or need breaks checked. Most cars now a days, have a sensor that is part of and hooked up to your breaks, and that will trigger your abs system (which is breaks) and let you know if your pads are low, or to the ware mark. So Here is what you first do, is check your break fluid and make sure that resavor is full, check under car to make sure there is no leaks, under car and inside each wheel area where breaks are, and then next step, is Les Swab can check your breaks for free and let you know if your pads are down to the ware mark. Let me know, Mike

ABS light comes on. Shut off the truck it goes out and may not come back on for a while or may come right back on. Just started doing this. Brakes good, fluids full. Before it did this the first time, when...

So you know nothing about ABS

You know nothing about any lights you get
on the dash, of any vehicle. They have been there 25 years now

You have an ABS System Malfunction. You can check anything
you want,won't help

You need a repair shop to diagnose and repair the issue

Very probably a leaking exhaust. Its probably the joint between the manifold and the exhaust system. The ABS issue is probably a red herring.

Note. Get it checked out as that smell contains a lot of Carbon Monoxide and could cause you to pass out and die. Serious stuff!

ABS light staying on

Not likely. I've been driving a Dodge Stealth with the ABS light on for about 5 years now. But, ABS does give one a little more peace of mind -- it's a good idea to get it fixed.-----------Charlie

Need Break Booster Replaced

The brake booster/ naster cylinder is located on the firewall on the drivers side of the vehicle. The master cylinder has a resivour (sp) which has a cap and holds brake fluid. The brake booster is right behind that, the master cylinder is bolted right to the booster. The booster looks like a big circle about 10 to 12 inches round and usually 4 to 6 inches thick. It will have a vaccum hose coming off the booster and going to the intake manifold. The master cylinder with have hard lines coming off it which are brake lines. Hope this helps.
