Question about 2000 Nissan Xterra
The A/C in my 2000 Xterra just stopped blowing cold over a period of about a week. One week it was fine. After about 7-10 days, it was just blowing hot air. I thought it was out of Freon, so I had someone recharge the system. It was fine and blowing cold for about a day and a half. Now back to hot air again. I hear alot about some thermal switch or module (or something like it) located behind the glove box. I have heard (for many) it solves the problem. Can someone tell me if I will know what I am looking for when I see it? Or what exactly to look for once the glove box is out? And, if someone has the actual name of the part with part number, that would be great too. Thanks a lot.
Email me on this one.

You need to check and see if the fan in front of the rad. is working. If it is not then you need to fix it. If its not working then your AC is not cooling off and wasting all your freon.
