Question about 1998 Ford Taurus
I ahve been having a lot of problems with it overheating and was told the waterpump was somewhat recently replaced so the mechanic replaced the radiator and the cap on the coolant reservoir. I drove it all week without any problems that i know of, and just yesterday as im driving the freeway with my 1 yr old, it stalled on me and when i pulled over, I lifted the hood and there was a a little flame on one of the wires, now i dont know what to do. i dont even know what wire was on fire, i thought it was my spark plug but now i am not to sure. what should i do?
Take it to someone who knows what they are doing... especially if you have kids in the car, your local FORD dealer has all the tools and expertise to fix your problem, allthough it may be costly it is the safest bet.hope this helps and good luck
