starter is located on the front side of the motor, easiest way to reach it is from underneath just between the radiator and the motor, two 13mm bolts hold it to the transmission
It's probably your starter solenoid that is stuck on. Older fords had this solenoid or relay located on the passenger fender apron, but I think on your '95 model, it is located on the starter motor itself.
There are copper contact points or buttons inside the solenoid. Yours must have stuck together. Pretty simple fix: pull the starter off and change the solenoid.
you really don't need one..... 1.Disconnect the battery 2.locate the starter. If its a v8 itll be on the driver side at the back of the engine beside the oil pan 3.there are two bolts on the bottom of the starter that you need to remove with a 9/16 socket or wrench.(support the starter when you remove the last bolt so the wires don't get broken) 4.observe the location of all of the wires attached to the starter(make a diagram so you don't forget where they go) 5.Remove the nuts that hold the wires on the starter.(make sure the ring connectors and wires are in good shape if you notice any damaged ones they should be replaced) 6. reverse procedure to install new one ..............hope this is helpfull.good luck!
