It sounds like you've done just about everything except to check if there is a bad or intermittent wire causing this or perhaps your low-pressure safety cutout switch is possible going bad causing the compressor to kick on and off?

2002 Honda cr-v ac compressor clutch won't engage, and the clutch coil has no electrical continuty. Can the coil / brushes be replaced without replacing the entire compressor?

you change the clutch on the end with no problem ,just the nut in the middle then underneath is some more bolts if i remember correctly ,i had two of these clutches laying around and i would have sent you both as they worked but i had a clear up about a week ago and threw them in the scrap bin.same model with a 4 cyl engine and the compressor had a snail cam type mechanism to pressure up the gas which is not a very good system as they wear out too quick and they are over a 1000euros and only available from honda .

Good day,the problem of my car is the noise of my aircon compressor?what should i do?

Hello,
Very common unfortunately, your compressor has poo'd itself.

You'll need a new compressor, receiver drier, and you may need a clutch and stator for the compressor. Very expensive!

If you use genuine parts, you'll be up for about 1K, plus gas.

THanks

1984 honda accord AC problem, Clutch does not engage fuse good

The clutch will not engage unless there is sufficient refrigerant in the system.

I believe the 1984 Honda originally had r-12 which is largely illegal in the U.S. nowadays in that a certified mechanic must recover and recycle that kind of refrigerant.

I would recommend that you convert it to r134a if you can afford to do this, by putting new fittings on for a quick connect on the low side.

Add about 2 or 3 cans down at the compressor's low side (low pressure) which has larger pipes than the high side (high pressure).

Charge until the hose says you have 25 psi to 45 psi on the low side while the compressor clutch is turning.

good luck to you on this problem.

2 Questions 02 Honda CRV Sport passenger side

  1. You have to hit your unlock button a second time to unlock the other doors. If you know this and are, and it's only the one door that's not working, then you need a power door lock actuator replaced. It's attached to the latch inside the door and unlocks and lock the door.
  2. Not sure what a burring sound is, but if you're describing what it sounds like then it could be the A/C clutch, but you also have to remember that you should notice the RPMs on a CR-V drop about 500rpm when the A/C compressor clutch engages. That's normal. If it's making a funny sound, you need to have a Honda dealer check it out, they will know for sure if it's normal or not.

Loud medium pitched humming sound when I start the engine

always go with the honda service tech for they are trained in ut specific car models.. they both can be right though... the noise may be from ur auto tensionor and or ur a/c compressor..those models have problems with the a/c clutch pulley bold breaking off and have problems with the a/c compressors blowing up
