On a 1998 dodge ram 4x4 , where is the engine coolant sensor located ?

you have to remove the alternator and the water hose on the top.when this is done youll see two sensors the one to the left is tempertue sending and the one to right is the coolant temparture sensor a little harder get out, but be patient with it.coolant temperture has two wires and temperture sending has one. for the amount work i would change both sensors the hose and the thermostat. take the themostat cover off and leave thermostat in place until you change sensors in case you drop something it wont fall into the hole.this should make it easier to get at the sensor to the right. thermostat should be a 195.sensors look alike but are differentDuralast/Coolant Temperature Sensor, Part Number: SU3035

Where is the sender unit located for the temperture sensor on the 2004 passat?

The temp sending unit should be either in the head , the water housing, or the radiator. On a VW it is usually in the head. I hope this helped.

How to check circuit 1998 nissan frontier fuel tank tempertur sensor

I assume you mean "P0180" not "p180", which is not a valid OBD Diagnostic Test Code.

So you replaced the fuel pump module without even diagnosing this code??? WOW! That was an EXPENSIVE mistake!

You pretty much answered your own question. The wires are located between the fuel pump module (Tank Fuel Temperature "TFT" sensor), the PCM and the ground point for the sensor.

Connector pins "T" and "E" at the fuel pump module connector are the wires for the TFT sensor

The temperture meter on the instrument panel is not working, on reading. I need to find out which temperture sensor and where it is located. The car is a 1992 Toyota, Previa.

The temperature gauge sensor is what you need to replace. It is also a good idea to replace the thermostat, but is not necessary.
The sensor is usually located on the top of the engine on the driver side. It will (should) have a single wire coming out of the top of it.
Locate (purchase) a repair manual or ask a parts dealer representative to help locate it's exact location.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Having trouble locating

The IAT is in the air cleaner box or the air intake hose to the engine, it measures intake air temperture (IAT), the fuel line runs along the frame rail on the drivers side, crawl under the truck you will see it, it is a 3/8" metal or black plastic line from the fuel tank
