Turned on air cond.for first time -had no problem last year but now it will not do anything when turned to air conditioning. No sound from anywhere

Compressor not kicking on ? Low on refrigerant , compressor clutch bad , A/C compressor clutch relay is bad. Do you know how to test these thing's ?
What year , make , model vehicle ? Could have a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the HVAC control module , PCM .
Video's on youtube showing how to test compressor clutch relay etc...

I need a wiring diagram schematic on a 2007 Pontiac g6 GT. The vehicle has a 3.5 litre engine. The diagram I need is from the AC clutch compressor to the air compression relay.

Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter vehicle info year , make , model and engine . Under system click on HVAC , under subsystem HVAC controls . Click the search button , then the second blue link is the one you want ! This system is pretty complex , pushing the A/C on button sends a request signal to the BCM - body control module , then the BCM sends a request message to the ECM - engine control module over the GMLAN serial data bus. Which then energizes the A/C clutch relay ! Hooking up a factory scan tool is the best way to trouble shoot this. Using the scan tool you would be able to see if the request signal is getting to the ECM an to see if the the ECM is controlling the clutch relay .

96 ford e350air conditioner problem

Looks like you checked all the things that need to be checked except "one." Sounds stupid, but did you check your temp switch on you dash to make sure it is the air conditioner you want to run instead of the heater? Sometimes, many forget this one simple check and can't figure out why the air conditioner won't engage.

Air conditioning compressor clicks on but fan does'nt go on.

The air cond system on this vehicle is electronically controlled by a computer commanded by the user. It incorporates various relays and switches to acheive the desired effect. If the fan works normally when the engine cooling system commands it on then i would suspect a relay or switch in the a/c system. Electrical issues with any make of car can be very hard to diagniose due to the amount of circuits, switches, relays, etc.etc. I would suspect the relay to be the first check in my diagnosis. Since electrical issues can get very in depth you might consider a professional first. If not you will need a manual to have access to wiring diagrams. Always be careful when working with electicity as even low voltages can still be dangerous.

A/C does not work.

Any chain auto parts store will have aftermarket manuals from Haynes and/or Chilton for your Blazer and they are a good investment at <$20 US.
They contain all the information a shade-tree mechanic needs.

1998 nissan sentra gxe air conditioning

just cause the relay clicks and makes noise does not mean its working properly that relay provided you have the right one will engage the clutch and the chances of the clutch being bad are very slim so make sure that you have the right relay and get a replacement just for arguements sake and try it also when you select the air cond does the selector light to show that its working that also could be the problem now if the system is out of refriderant this could also be the problem.Hope this helps
