I've got a 97 ford Taurus can't get the A.c. to work i done changed the A.c. lines the office tube and the compressor and done changed the A.c. relay what else could it be

This is just a guess here, but, does it have gas? If there is no gas, the compressor won't start. Also check the connections in the compressor housing, and the switch inside the car, the one that turns it on.

Why does my low pressure side ac in A 1997 Silverado get to high orfice tube is clean

Could be a plugged up evaporator or condensor. Have also had compressors go bad internally and put some of the high side pressure in the low side.

1999 chevy K1500, A/C system works intermittently. Seems to be electrical, because when compressor runs, air is cold. How best to diagnose?

Start wiggling connections. Clutch, low pressure cyling switch, high pressure cut off switch, etc..
I had an intermitent working a/c on my 89 Camaro. First thing I wiggled was the cycling switch on the dryer and that turned out to be where it was. It was not the connector though but the switch itself.

I have an 1997 s-10 the a/c works sometimes and sometimes not.It has all new switches high and low pressure. The compressor cyles to fast on start up.It seems to stop right about the time it starts...

The Accumulator only dries the air,if it even works, separates some oil going to evaporator and starts to boil off some gas before the orfice. So basically it never fails, forget that. The orfice won't be real dirty, unless you had a compressor or o-ring failure.
The short cycling is low ref.
The longer cycling is more heat or btu's over the evaporator.
So--Put the gauges on it and look at cycling pressure.
--Electronic Leak Test it
-- If you have to,pull a vacuum and recharge.

I'll bet your compressor clutch end seal leaks as well as a hose or two
It is 13 years old!!

Blinking or chattering of the compressor clutch usually indicates low "freon" charge.

2003 1500.......a/c quits

try cleaning condensor and radiator with pressue washer(be careful no to bend fins)may haft to remove grill if they are dirty will cause ecessive high pressure in system triggering high pressure switch thats why compressor shuts down-if it didnt system would blow line or damage compressor-try that if it works keep clean on regular basis!!!Best of Luck To You!!!!

1997 V6 3.8L Firebird - Low A/C

If the compressor is not cycling on its own the system is either very low or empty, meaning there is a leak somewhere. The leak needs to be repairedd and the system vacuumed and recharged.
