2005 F-150 sounds like front wheel bearing is bad. turn to the left and sound is bad. turn to the right and no noise

Looks like it's time for a right wheel bearing, or however many there are in the hub. I'm assuming you do not have a 4 wheel drive. Remember, if it makes noise when turning left, you are "loading" the right wheel bearing. ( Shifting more weight to the side inside your turn). Think this way. When turning left at a higher speed, the left tire might even come up off the ground! That puts all the weight on the right. If you've 4 wheel drive, could also be c.v. joints, or universal joints.

I hear a loud grinding noise when i drive my car

Check front tyres & wheel bearings espesially the R/H/F. Feel tyre for high / low spots on inside & jack up & spin wheel if you get noise while jacked up it is not the tyres but wheel bearing or brake pads but more than likly a crook bearing by the sound of it. It needs to be tended to ASAP

My 2005 ford explore is making a grinding sound in front driver side. sounds like something is rubing wat could this problem be

it could be the wheel bearing if it changes pitch ( the noise changes ) when you turn left or right at highway speeds not touching the brake pedal it more then likely its the drivers side wheel bearing . This is if you have already check the brakes to make sure they are not metal to metal , check the brake pads first.then do the test i just talked about.

I drive a Toyota Wish 1.8, 2007 model. When I turn to the left, I get a intermittent hissing rotation sound coming from my right front wheel. I suspect its from the right wheel bearings. My last service...

Okay no problem dont make left turns.(Joke,) yes its is from the rust here is what happens the rust that has formed is now inbedded into the brake pads itself and will be there for the rest of its service life is there any way to get rid of it No. unless you replace the pads. Why it doesnt produce a high squel is the compostion is more carbon than semi-metallic or metallic. If it was a bearing noise it will be there no matter what way you turn.

Grinding noise upon turning. Only audible in interior - sounds like 4-wheel drive is about to die!

If you hear the nosie when turning right or when turning left? Have you checked your front or back brake pad linings? It sounds like you have a bad bearing,cv axle or ujoint, . Where do you here the noise from? Front or back or left or right?
