Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I am having a problem with my idle. I just had it

I am having a problem with my idle. I just had it replaced because the rpm was bouncing up and down and the car was rocking from side to side. When I started the car, it reved up and when I put it in reverse/drive, it was very jerky. However, after the idle was replaced, it started doing these things again! So they reset the idle, but it is again acting up. What could be wrong??

"idle" is not a part, it is what an engine does...like you can't have your walking replaced...If a shop did this work per their diagnosis and it did not fix your problem, bring it back to them and tell them to do it right! (you paid to have it fixed and that was not done.)

2003 citroen xsara picasso problems with cutting out on idle ?

Are your rpms bouncing? At idle rpm should be 1000 or less.... If too low, your timing got thrown off somehow or if you have a idle control motor equipped, replacing that improves idle....

Why does my rpm gage bounce when i push my clutch in?

May be an iac motor slow to react to change in load. RPM will change when shifting or engaging/disengaging clutch. Does not sound serious yet ... If you can, compare with similar vehicle and see it it does the same.
