Question about 1996 Subaru Legacy

2 Answers

I've got a 1996 Subaru Legacy and the turn signals stopped working in mid drive today. I thought it was the fuse, but the fuse appeared to be fine (it worked in other 15A fuse outlets, while other working fuses did not work in that outlet. Is this a fuse box issue or a relay switch issue?

Does the emergency flasher work? If not, it could be a connection behind the coffee holder/Emergency flasher switch on the dashboard. I had a mechanic who had to go behind the dashboard and inadvertantly din't connect it properly and neither my flasher nor blinkers worked.

Windshield sprayer fuse location in a 1996 subaru legacy

Some of your fuses are located under the hood on the driver's side, right behind the battery. Underneath a black cover. The rest are on driver's side in the car, on the far left side, mounted behind a black cover, to the left of where your left leg goes when driving. Your sprayer may not be working if it is clogged up, common problem. Can you hear the sprayer work? I have 1996 outback and just cleaned out all my hoses and now the sprayer works fine.

The turn signals inside the car do not work, just stopped for no reason. told i need a flasher, which i purchased from advanced auto. 3 mechanics today, could not figure out where the flasher is to be...

If the signals outside flash, then you don't need a flasher, just the inside bulb.
The flasher plugs into your fuse box, which is either in the engine compartment, or under the glovebox.
