Question about 2005 Chevrolet Silverado
It's in the fuel tank. Part of the float/pump assembly.
Most instructions say to drop the tank, but I found it to be much easier to remove the bed. Which will fully expose the top of the tank allowing easy access to the filter/float/pump part that you'll need to replace. Expect to spend well over $100.00 for this part. GL

GM used to put them on the frame rail under the truck, I understand that 04 and newer the filter is in the tank as part of the pump assembly.
