Before you go and replace the regulator you should use a 12 volt tester to see if your getting power to the Motor first . if your not check the switch next if there is power there look at the door jam for broken wires this is a common problem. if the motor needs replaced then tape the window in the up position , Drill out the rivets and remove the power wire and the the motor the replacement motor will come with bolt nuts and washers , if not you will need a rivet gun for the replacment rivets . just revers your steps to install. remember when working on any type of power units always disconnect the ground terminal on the battery.(Black) lead to the battery, Good Luck !

How to replace power window regulator....

Hello, before replacing the power window regulator, always check to see if the window motor or the regulator is the problem. Turn the ignition key ON and listen for the window motor,if the window motor can be heard when you move the switch and the window does not move, the regulator is definitely bad, and if the motor does not work, the motor is the problem. This is a common problem for the window regulators to go bad. The cable is probably fine but the plastic piece that the cable locks into i bet is broken. These are not replaceable you will have to replace the whole regulator. Beware of aftermarket ones they are not as good as OEM but they are very expensive at the dealer probably about 250.00 to 300.00 dollars.

    Thanks

How to change window motor gear on 91 f-150

To remove the window motor on this truck remove the door panel to access the window regulator and motor assembly. The regulator might be riveted in so you will have to knock out the rivets to remove it and replace them with bolts and nuts. Once you remove the rivets lower the regulator and window down to slide regulator out of the channel on the bottom of the window once removed from window push window back up and tape in position to pull regulator and motor out unbolt motor of regulator being careful not to let tension spring on regulator to release real fast it will mess it up. Replace motor and reinstall regulator assembly back in the door on the window and bolt into place. Put door back together.

Broken Ford Focus 3 door 04 reg Window Regulator. Can I replace myself?

If you search Google for Ford Focus Window Regulator replacement, you should find a great deal of information. The front doors are different from the rear (sedan, station wagon) doors. I've replaced the rear window regulator and it wasn't hard but the front window regulator is very different from the rear regulator.
