Question about 2004 Kia Rio
Look under the car, its just below the back drivers side door, you will see the filter there, its black if its factory and it has three hoses coming off it, basically, find ur gas tank and work ur way to the front of the car following the lines and you will find the filter. Right by the tire more or less. Cant miss it really...

SOURCE: fuel filter
first, you have to drain the oil from the drain plug located at the bottom of the oil pan,
after all of the oil have been drain, tighten back the drain plug bolt.
then remove the old oil filter by using a filter wrench, you would need this wrench because it is very hard to remove by plain hands. the oil filter is located at the bottom of the engine or sometimes at its side.
after removing the old one, apply a thin coat of new oil to the rubber o-rings of the new oil filter before inserting just to make a good seal as you tighten it.
now open the oil filler cap at the top of the engine and pour the exact amount of new oil that was specified in your book. and also the correct type of oil that it uses.
then start the engine for 5 mins, turn t off and check the amount of oil at the dip stick. add if necessary..
i hope i was able to fix ur problem...

SOURCE: replace the fuel filter
yes, just locate your fuel filter. sometimes it is just in the engine compartment in the fuel line. if it is only a plastic filter then just remove the hoses attached to it and transfer the hoses to the new filter. be cautious when handling gasoline. be careful. if the filter is fitted in the fuel line, then all you have to do is loosen up the fittings and replace the filter. these fittings are normally use in metal filters.

The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank, pump removal is required to replace. There is an inspection cover behind the front seats on the floor to gain access to the pump. stupid idea. but whats not stupid about kia.
