Question about 1995 Pontiac Bonneville

The car is hesitating while driving. The battery

The car is hesitating while driving. The battery was replaced, the alt. checks out ok, the sparks have been replaced. Fuel injectors? It also has gray smoke when it lugs.

    Thank you for the tip. Not a cut out problem. It is hesitating, as if it wants to die but doesn't. That is when the smoke starts, then it stops and it runs ok. The alternator test checked out good, the battery bad, so it was replaced. All the sparks have been replaced, belts ok, wondered if it could be a fuel injector or ?? Help! Thanks.

Hesitation when excelarating while driving

Check compression in #1. A cylinder needs gas, spark, and compression to fire. Check spark with a calibrated spark tester. It could be an injector problem, so check for pulsing of the injector. Does the spark plug show wetness after being cranked over?
The compression in #1 should be within 75-80% of the highest reading cylinder.

My dodge magnum 2005 hesitate

For this problem click the link below and refer the procedure to troubleshoot the issue:----Headlights flickering and car hesitates to start?http://howtobyme.blogspot.in/2012/02/headlights-flickering-and-car-hesitates.html

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

2003 kia optima battery light came on and headlights went dim and then out but high beams still work, dash lights are dim and the car still runs.

The alternator has stopped charging for some reason.
First check alternator drive belt is ok;
Check dash 'battery' (or 'ALT') light illuminates when ignition on and motor not running- if not, check 'ALT' lamp is not blown and connections to alternator are ok;
If all above ok, the alternator may be faulty.

Battery light comes on intermittantly while driving I had the battery tested and alternator everything was fine???Is it safe??

You have an intermitt issue. Test battery voltage when light is on. More than likely alternator (also check the belt that drives it) or poor battery connection (must be clean and tight).

if batt.gets drain while driving,charging system is not working!by comment,u knew that!u can check wiring connection at alt.for bad contact,corrosion or damage wiring,check for batt. voltage at big red wire at alt.,but these models are prone to alt. failure,if connections are ok,pull out alt. have it check at part store they do not charge for this,

1995 ford 150, battery keeps losing power while running, alternator and battery checked out OK. battery cables and connections replaced still loses power.

Hi,
Ok then lets start right from the beginning, what to check for:
-- loose battery connection pos and neg
-- loose or broken wires on the alt
-- loose alt belt
-- you said that you had the alt and battery tested? that was a load test?
-- battery could be just no good even if its new, that's why I asked if a load test was done, and the output of the alt is ok?

Try these please let me know then we can go from there.

Cheers
