Hi I am Vortash you say it didn't make a sound .. no clicking to say the starter motor was trying to engage nothing ? if that is the case then I would say it is either a duff battery or the earth or negative connection is faulty or the lead to the starter motor positive lead is at fault or that the starter solenoid itself is faulty .. finally the only other thing it can be with symptons like that is a faulty ignition switch not connecting the starter connection .. simple test .. turn ignition on select neutral and bridge the two connections on the back of the starter solenoid that is the two to the positive lead .. so the starter gets a direct feed by passing the solenoid .. or on the two connections that go to the solenoid ( smaller wires that activate the solenoid put a seprate feed an touch to the battery if it starts it is the ignition switch .. The solenoid is only an electro magnetic switch that pulls a metal bar inside to bridge the two connections of the large bore wires that carry the high amperage juice to the starter .. A Haynes manual is invaluable for things like this and gives you many ideas to repair your car cheaply and efficiently ... regards Vortash

1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager won't start, fuel pump runs for about 1/2 second when you turn on the key

The power control module sends signal to the fuel pump relay, it gets it's signal from the pick up coil in the distributor and the crankshaft position sensor. I'm having the same issues with my 94 Jeep Wrangler

1998 Plymouth grand voyager ignition won't turn

I have had this happen on my 98 Voyager. Just have a new key cut. This new key will sometimes cure the problem. The older keys get worn out and won't unlock the ignition. Try this before a much more expensive and time consuming change of the ignition.

1996 grand voyager won't start

Donna, you need to check to see if there is fuel getting to the engine to determine if it's the fuel pump. The 1st and easiest check, is to turn the key to the 'run' position, but do not turn the engine over, if you do, go back one 'notch' on the key. You should hear a 'whirring' sound coming from the fuel tank, which would be the fuel pump going on. This sound will only last a few seconds, unless you start the vehicle (which you can't). If there is no sound, it could be a bad pump, BUT 1st check the easy stuff: fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, ASD relay or other related circuits. So start simple, and go from there, good luck, let me know what you find.
