This is a problem with these cars we have had trouble for a long time seems to happen when we are at walmart (go figure). or when it gets hot out, Grab a can of starting fluid and see if the car will start...if not then its a problem with the spark plug cables if it does then its a fuel problem, we still havent figured out the cause but i promise it will get worse, just lastly the car refused to start for 2 days stuck at a gas station then we tried it and it ran like nothing ever happened the only thing that i can think is the fuel pump? take the line off of the back of the engine on the right hand side just behind the black cover on the engine, u want to pull the bottom one off and see if fuel comes out when u turn the key if not its a fuel delivery problem.

I did an oil change an tune up for 83 Buick lesabre with not enough oil. All connections hooked up except alternator. But it won't crank. What should I do? An it turns slow when try to crank

1ST make sure the oil level is up to spec. make sure all connections are connected & either charge the battery or boost the battery. If a boost doesn't do the trick, try leaving the booster cables hooked up with the other car running for a few minutes & try starting again. Try that battery charge next. If no luck, u may need a batt, Have a battery voltage test done / load test & starter draw test when fully charged. If u get it running have the alternator checked & ckd for shorts. Good Luck

Why does my 1999 buick lesabre motor stop while driving but restart after a frew minutes?

it sounds like you might have a crank sensor that is going bad. When it does not start check for spark and injector pulse. If both are missing than it is very likely a bad crank sensor. If there is no spark but injector pulse than the crank sensor is working and you may have an issue with the ignition module.

Why does my 94 buick stops running for no reason, acts like it is running out of gas

Could be anything electrical. A weak relay, the coil pack or ignition module, and so on.
You'll need to figure out what is loosing electrical power when it fails to start to know what to test. You might start with the fuel pump relay.

Buick lesabre 94,crank but wont start, got spark but not open fuel injectors

Check your fuses. Check at an injector plug for power with the key on. One wire would be power with the key on. The other wire would be a ground pulse when the engine is turning (running or starting). Both wires may show hot but it could just be power feeding back. If you have a test light capable of testing for ground, check for ground as well while the engine is cranking (a noid light is ideal).
If no ground or you cannot test for it, take the ignition module to an autozone so they can test it for free.

92 buick lesabre: yesterday, it would not start when it was hot.

Crank sensor. Next time it does this spray some water on it and see if it cranks. Its by the crankshaft pulley towards front of car.

Fuel problem

Clean battery cables. Check crank sensor, next time it will not start pour water on the sensor and if it cranks you will know what to replace.

2000 buick lesabre stall after starting or after running for 30 minutes

I have a 1996 Lesabre. I had a similar problem that slowly got worse. I brought it to two different mechanics that did diagnostic checks and could only "suggest" what to replace to fix the problem. Their problem was that it wouldnt stall out while they had the mv. After replacing a bunch of sensors and the fuel pump/ filter, I solved the problem by replacing the Crank Sensor. Its located behind the lower crank pulley on the 3.8 lt motor. Hope this helps!
