Question about 2004 Dodge Intrepid

2004 Dodge Intrepid starter relay

I keep blowing start relays we just replaced the radiator fan assembly and went to go start the car after that and it wouldn't start had power just clicked when you turned the key. Figured out that it was the starter relay and that is the same relay that is for the high power windshield wipers (in the desert so don't need those right now) so we put that in the starter relay and it started right up. Drove the car around all night worked fine stopped turned off the car and it started right back up. I went to go start it the next morning and it wouldn't start had power and just the clicking like the day before when you turn the key. It is in park and there are lights. what could be wrong?

Where is the radiator fan relay located on a dodge intreped 2004

noexprea, You will find that relay in the engine compartment fuse box. Sometimes there will be two relays, one for high fan and one for low fan. Read the legend on the cover to determine which relay to remove. Good luck with this.

the relays will not cause fuses to blow. you have a problem with the fan motor itself. replace that it should take care of your problem.

My 2004 4.7 dodge durngo keeps running hot. I've

Do the radiator fans turn when engine hot? Try turning them when engine is off and cold; they should spin freely. Could be bad solid state relay that controls them. Try blowing the debris out of the radiator fins from the inside of the engine compartment.

Intermittent overheating problem, 1996 dodge intrepid. New waterpump installed, new termostat installed, temp. sensor replaced , new overflow bottle with new pressure cap, all hoses replaced, system...

The relay. There is a black box on the right hand side of the engine at the top corner. It encloses all the relays. Make sure you are looking at the diagram well. Exchange the relays and remove the wiper relays and exchange them with the radiator fan relays. Start the engine, run it for 5 mins and see if they kick-start.
