There is no direct plug-in replacement for it, but if you really wanted to do it and were ambitious enough to get a junk twist switch module and its connector plugs, with some careful wiring modifications, you should be able to make it work since both switches perform the same basic functions. However, be advised that the pull-type switch also has the dome/dash light dimmer incorporated into it where the twist type has a separate dial control for that function. You would need to pull a switch module assembly out of a vehicle that has both devices to wire the thing up properly. I have a 1999 Dakota that has just that configuration, and it would probably suffice if you can manage to fit it into the space you have a available.
Testimonial: "thanks,,i bought a inst. bezel that was made for a twist switch..it is a larger hole than a pull.i also read that a pull is a common problem.dodge changed switches in mid year production.(1998) I did not know when ordering bezel, it seams the supplier didn't either.just my luck, I have painted it."
