There is no direct plug-in replacement for it, but if you really wanted to do it and were ambitious enough to get a junk twist switch module and its connector plugs, with some careful wiring modifications, you should be able to make it work since both switches perform the same basic functions. However, be advised that the pull-type switch also has the dome/dash light dimmer incorporated into it where the twist type has a separate dial control for that function. You would need to pull a switch module assembly out of a vehicle that has both devices to wire the thing up properly. I have a 1999 Dakota that has just that configuration, and it would probably suffice if you can manage to fit it into the space you have a available.

Testimonial: "thanks,,i bought a inst. bezel that was made for a twist switch..it is a larger hole than a pull.i also read that a pull is a common problem.dodge changed switches in mid year production.(1998) I did not know when ordering bezel, it seams the supplier didn't either.just my luck, I have painted it."

My 2003 nissan altima headlights won't turn off. The switch is off and battery is now almost dead. Switch is the twist type on the turn signal lever. What would make the lights stay on?

Could be a sticking relay pull the relay in engine bay relay box that controls headlights.
Could be a faulty switch on the twist stalk .
A 12v probe would confirm this at the relay contact sockets.

Hwere is the switch for courtesy lights on floor?

The older cars have a dimmer switch built into the headlight switch panel that turns on and off the interior lights and the dash lights , in some cases it is the pull headlight switch light that one can turn up and down for bright and dim to off position.'There may also be a single thumb turn or twist turn light switch that controls the interior lights located on or around the headlight panel switch.

I just bought a 99 sebring limited and didnt ask how to turn on the fog lights So how do I

On the steering column. There is the yoke to twist to turn on the head lights. Well on that same yoke, underneath the buttom side facing the dash, look for a little lever, or on some a tiny sliter. Tun on the headlights first, then move the lever. This will turn on the fpg lamps. They will not come on without the headlights on.

Open your hood and there are 2 clips on the top of the headlight assembly. Pull up on both of them and the headlight assesbly can be pulled out. You will then simply need to twist and remove the old bulbs from the housing.
