Not likely. The 1995 engine will most likely be designed for computerized control with all the newer sensors. These did not exist in 1983. Not to mention trying to get an adapter to mate the transmission and remainder of drive train. The days of cross-year engine swapping have been made very difficult because of PCM program controls, but that same technology makes the engines themselves run better and last longer.
