Question about 2002 Ford Escape
Being a woman I tried to clear some gunk out of the cigarette lighter in my new car with my key!! It sparked a bit and now it doesn't work. My bf has tried to change the fuse but tells me that the fuses are smaller than normal fuses and that he can't get at the fuses without taking the whole drawer out. Can anyone give any advise please? Thanks
You have mini blade fuses in your ford. One of the fuse boxes should have a fuse puller in it. If not then get some long nose pliers to grab it and pull it out. And a way to help clean that out is to get a baby bottle brush to run through it. Just make sure its dry and clean before you try it, other wise it can rust and corrode in the housing and cause more trouble.
