Question about 1997 Ford F150 Regular Cab
If the noise is coming from the front of your truck, chance are its your front wheel bearings. at o'riely's they are i think 129 a piece. it includes the bearings, and hub. its not hard to do and takes about two hours. also make note whether your truck has rear or front anti-lock brakes

Is the sound from the front or rear of the vehicle, can you tell? If front, check the fan clutch, etc. Can you "Feel" the noise in the steering wheel, or seat maybe, when you're driving?
