Question about 2004 Volkswagen Jetta

When i start my 1.8T, the check engine lights blinks

When i start my 2001 Passat 1.8T, the engine revs up and down from about 1000RPM to 1300RPM. After about 1-2 minutes of this the engine revs will flatten out but the car will start to shake slightly. When the car is first started the check engine light comes on and flashes which according to the owners manual states that the Catalytic converter is failing. On the other hand i know that that usually smells like a burning toaster and i don't smell anything different when the car is running. any suggestions?

Oil pressure light went on on my 2000 audi a4 1,8t. What should i do?

could be sender or pump. do not run the engine until you're sure you have a good pump. Does it blink on and off--coming on mainly at idle? This would be normal for an old engine. If it stays on and the pump is bad, you will ruin your engine. You can try replacing the sending uniot, as that is cheap compared to the pump, but don't run it long to check new sender. If new sender stays red, shut down and replace pump.

The driver side window on my 2001 Passat won't roll up.

Pop out the switch on the door that has the issue, more than likely switch has gone bad and needs to be replaced. you will need to check it with a meter to see if power is getting to the switch and also to check when switch is activated if power goes through switch

L reg 2L passat high co2 emmisions on high revs

Possible answers are: engine heat is too low (check thermostat), air cleaner dirty (replace), O2 sensor is worn (replace), EGR valve is not working correctly, catalytic converter is failing (replace). Is the check engine light on? If so, rent a scanner, read the code(s), and pursue to repairs. Don't just start replacing parts till it works. Hope this helps.

2005 AVEO - at idle the engine revs up and down (1000rpm to 1500rpm +-). If it is idling smooth you can turn the AC on and it starts reving up and down. Think I got some bad fuel which began the problem,...

check your fuel cap when they start to go bad the pressure in the tank won't read and it will make it do that. and if it still does it then try cleaning the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor when they get dirty they can cause the same problem
