Gm has an old factory theft deturant system, disconnect the battery for at least five minutes and reconnect should reset the system to enable you to start it. If it will still not continue ensure the ignition is the right one and everything is installed correctly and in the right sequence order

Wont hit a lick is firing fuel system wont run unless u hot wire and the spot for relay is dead and has new engine brain still nothing.

Try changing the electronics on your ignition switch. All of the power to the rest of your car goes through your ignition switch and if the switch is bad the car won't start because power is not getting to where it needs to be. I am almost positive that if you replace the ignition switch electronic your car will run fine. I hope this helps

The dash gauges all work , fuel pumps are both good , the fuel pumps wont come on and the truck trys to fire when i turn the ignition on but wont , could this be a fuel regulator

did you check the fuel pressure pump on the frame rail for power and ground? have you verified no ignition spark to the spark plugs? have you checked for fire from the coil to the distributor cap? does the check engine light come on when you turn the key on? have you check for injector pulse and power at the fuel injectors? if the fuel pump won't come on and you have no ignition fire and no injector pulse, all of these systems are triggered by the ECM.

1995 s-10 blazer 4.3 vortec wont start. have 57 psi at intake. wont fire with eather, new gm spider. advance auto fuel pump. filter.

well if the spyder is installed correctly, and will hold at least 45PSI, then it sounds like an ignition problem, make sure it has fire at all cyl's. I would check and make sure all injectors have a good pulse signal, and double check the ignition system.

Key does not come out, car wont start

The key is bounded up in the ignition cylinder from a bent lock tumbler
A new replacement ignition cylinder is the only remedy that will fix this problem

I have a 1992 dodge stealth base and i hooked up a chip to the mass air flow sensor but i didnt wrap the wires up after installing the chip the car shut off when i shut my hood and grounded the wires out.....

You may have actually damaged the MAF sensor itself. Inside the mass airflow sensor are a couple of very delicate resistors which can almost immediately be ruined if the wires get shorted to ground while the ignition key is turned on.

have you changed the ignition wires? perhaps firing order crossed? if not coil pack or ignition wires faulty how do you know it is not "FIREING" on 1 & 4 have you tested it with a spark tester tool???
