Not sure about your car, but on my Chrysler mini van the same problem happened. The problem was not the motor but the body control module. The unit had 2 relays, but the BCM actualy controls the unit. To replace the BCM was $450. I bypassed the problem by installing an on/off switch inside the car and activated the motor by by passing the BCM at the relay. That was 3 years ago, still works great. Your BCM may be the problem. Check the schematics of the relays and try doing the same.

Door lock does not work how do i fix problem

To fix the door knob lock, close the door slow & watch how the latch bolt meets the strike plate. The bolt may be positioned above, below, or 1 side of the strike plate. Its also possible the door has shrunk & the latch no longer reaches the plate.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rear passenger door will not open inside and outside latch useless window works no damage to door

there is a bulletin on this problem, the latch is defective & needs replacement unfortunately ford doesn't recognize this as a safety recall so you have to pay $$$ I'm working on a customer's car for their passenger front door not opening bad latch. you have to get inside the door & on the latch there is a small release lever you move with a small screwdriver to open the door then replace the latch.

MY DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WON'T SHUT... THINK THE LITTLE LATCH THING IS BROKE, HOW DO I REPAIR?

did you try lubing it with some lithium grease as most of the time, it's just something rubbing. If that doesn't work, you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to pull off the seal in order to see inside the door. then loosen the bolts holding the latch assembly down and then disconnecting the rods connecting to the latch assembly and remove....

Drivers door wont open iside or out all seems fine but nothing works

It sounds like your linkage has disconnected from the latch. I guess your door is stuck shut. It may be possible, but really hard, but you could try to slide something into the window and try to hit the latch release. It'll be tricky though... If you do manage to pop the door open that way, you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you have to pull back the seal covering the door in order to access the linkage assembly from inside the door
