Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
1997 jeep grand cherokee limited slow to start but always starts and runs fine what could it be I have a bad evap soleniod could that do it or something else what about a bad fuel relay help thank you
THE THINGS YOU MENTIONED WON'T AFFECT CRANK SPEED. YOU'RE BATTERY IS PROBABLY ON THE WAY OUT THE DOOR. LOOK FOR CORROSION AND LEAKING BATTERYLIKE AROUND TERMINALS AND POSTS. BATTERY IS PROBABLY LOW ON CCA'S. NOW IF TALKING ABOUT WON'T START AND TAKES LONG CRANK TIMES IT CAN BE FUEL PUMP LOSING PRESSURE IN FUEL RAIL OR LACK OF FUEL PRESSURE CONSIDERING WHAT YOU MENTIONED. EVAP SOLENOID WILL USUALY SET A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND WONT AFFECT STARTING USUALLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A HUGE VACUUM LEAK
