Won't Start all the time

I read the problem you are having and realized it is the same as i am having. I have a 2000 dodge intrepid and it will start perfectly fine for two weeks and then all of sudden won't start at all. It will click sometimes and other times there will be no power to the car all together. I have also jumped it and it started right up. I have had the car looked at three different times and still nobody can figure it out. Any suggestions and if you find the answer please help.

If it's not cranking during starting then try the following
* check the Timing Belt * check other Belts * check the Battery * check the Fuse and Realy Box
if it's cranking during starting
* check the spark plugs * check the spark plug wires (if it's corroded) * check the coils and its wires * check the fuel pump * check the Fuse and relay Box
hope it works

It sounds like you have something pulling on the battery when the car is off. The best way to check is by removing the negative battery cable while the car is turned off and attach one lead of a tester (Neon testers, voltmeters and tick-tracers consist of a neon light bulb that is attached to two leads used for checking a circuit.) to the negative wire and the other to the battery. If the tester lights, you have power being drawn from something while the car is off and probably running your battery down.

it might be the cam shaft sensor it might be the crank shaft sensor the best thing to do is replace them bolth. but it does sound like it may be either one because if one goes out the other will still work but when starting the car it will take longer for it to read from either or the one sensor that is still working because they work together to tell the system to deliver the gas. im pretty positive that it is either the cam or crank shaft sensor

2000 Dodge Intrepid Wont Start

first of all, check your code to see what the car computer shows. To do that , insert the key in the ignition and switch it on three time within 2 seconds and the third time live the key in the on position. All the instrument panel lights will lite and the oddometer will display the fault code that may br the cause for your car not starting. goood luck.
