Have a 97 Ford Aspire. This past winter had electrical work done to it, replaced starter, new plug wires, car turns over seems to be no power to fuel pump. Is there a fuel pump relay hiding somewhere?

Yes, there is a relay and there is also an inertia switch. The inertia switch is usually in the door pillar by the passenger's right foot. There are some relays by the flasher in the picture below. Check to see if any of those have the wire colors (green, yellow, and white) shown on the fuel pump relay diagram. Otherwise the relay may be mounted to the fenderwell or firewall in the engine compartment. You can determine whether or not the inertia switch is closed by checking the resistance of the relay green wire to ground. The resistance should only be a few ohms if the switch is closed, whereas it will be infinite if the switch is open. The yellow wire to the relay should be hot when the key is on. The white wire to the relay is the turn-on wire from the PCM. That wire should be ground when the key is on. If not, suspect your anti-theft system (PATS) has malfunctioned and perhaps is not seeing the transponder pellet in the factory key. The security light would flash rapidly if that were the case. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Where reset switch for fuel pump is located

I know there is not one on the 96 models. I fought a fuiel pump related issue on our 96. There are several sensors that must be working before the fuel pump will run. Start with the crankshaft sensor, then look at the camshaft sensor, finally there is a relay that actually runs the fuel pump. The relay should be under the hood with the fuses.

Dodge dosen't use reset switches on the fuel pump circuit. The only company I know of that does is Ford and Ford companies like Mazda and Jaguar.

Hope helps.

didyou check the inertia switch? if the relay is tuning on, the the problem is between relay and pump. if the wire was shorted you would have burned fuses or smoke somewhere.

The fuse for the fuel pump is pretty much the toggle switch between tanks, if that goes out, you will not have either tank.. IF you had an accident, there is a kill switch somewhere behind the dash on that truck that disables the fuel pump and must be reset.

Where exactly is the fuse for the fuel pump on a 1989 chevy blazer?

I can't say exactly where the fuse is but they are usually located on the firewall in the engine compartment with the fuel pump relay. However many vehicles are also equipped with a reset switch in the event of an accident located somewhere on the vehicle, usually in the trunk. Consult your owners manual or often tow truck drivers know where the reset switches are also.
