Did you hit the dimmer switch by mistake? It's usually a rotary dial by your left knee, sometimes higher. It controls how bright you want your backlighting on your gauge cluster to be.

No its a dimmer switch problem. Dashboard and parking lights are not turning on

  • Imran Oct 07, 2015

Sorry i mean its not a dimmer switch issue

If it is not down to your left right beside your pedals, I would take a look in the fuse box under the hood next to your battery. The fuse might be shared with other components, so have good light with you and check them all.

SOURCE: 2003 Toyota Corolla - Odometer stopped working

It appears to be a known limitation…
Nicole Grant of Toyota Canada public relations replies:
“Toyota has become aware that on 2003-2008 model-year Corolla and Matrix vehicles, odometer mileage is recorded accurately only up to 299,999 km. A new odometer must then be installed.

Our dealerships record mileage and service dates when an odometer is replaced. A copy of these records is placed in the owner's manual, along with a sticker on the odometer indicating that it was replaced.

Should a used-car buyer have any questions concerning the odometer reading, they may contact Toyota Canada or inquire at the motor vehicle office in the province where the vehicle was originally sold.”

A: Mohamed Bouchama, executive director of Car Help Canada (www.carhelpcanada.com; 416-651-0555), a non-profit consumer advocacy group, replies:
“Toyota should be responsible for the total cost of the repairs. It should "do the right thing by consumers" and recall every vehicle that has this problem due to their factory defective part.”

SOURCE: 2008 COROLLA DASHBOARD FUSE

dash not lighting up is USUALLy an indication of rear tail lights being out, generally brake lights, but not always. Check all lights and replace any burnt out... check gauges then.

2004 Toyota Corolla. The speedometer and odometer stopped working. Where is the fuse located please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from MISC to make model category.

You mean the lights in it? Fuse 18.

https://fuse-box.info/toyota/toyota-corolla-e120-e130-2003-2008-fuses

Or the actual speed information? No fuse, the data comes from a speed sensor and it processed by the ECM and BCM. Videos in the link.

Dashboard lights and tail lights don't work 95 toyota corolla

The circuits are on two different fuses, but both are controlled by the headlight switch. I would check for power at those fuses then at the switch.

Dashboard lights - 2001 toyota corolla

May not be any fuse and if it was other things would not work either. It is most likely the sitch that controls the running and dash board lights.

2008 toyota corolla

Should have to turn off the key, press the odometer reset button, while holding it down, turn ignition on, not starting the car, wait for the light to reset, or show counting down in the odometer.
