It's either a faulty switch where you adjust the speed setting or a problem with the blower motor.

Do you mean the fan speed?there is a resistor block that needs replacing that controls the speed or the fan is no good. connect the blower fan to 12 volts after unplugging it,and see if it works properly

Problem with ac blowing hot air on a 2002 ford mustang gt

Low or no freon. Bad compressor. If its low, find the leak, repair, evacuate and recharge with oil and freon. CLEAN Freon. NOT a quick fill with sealant. That will do damage the system.

You can jump the compressor without having the key on. Run a jumper wire from the positive post of the battery to the single wire plug for the clutch. If it clicks, find an AC shop and have it checked for leaks and repair.

96 mustang gt ac blows fuse after 5 minutes. Replaced field coil. Jumped low pressure switch. Blows 10 amp fuse in 2 minutes, 15 amp fuse in 5 minutes

it sounds to me like a AC resistor issue i have a beemer that did that same thing to me and it turn out that it was my ac resistor it would burn out my 30 amp ac fuse in 2 to 3 minutes usually when the resistors in a circuit break they tend to burn out the fuses as a warning. easy way to find out is by putting in a new fuse and after a minute go touch the negative lead on you battery if the cable is really hot then there's a short in the circuit or in the case of your ac it would be a broken resistor.
there simple to get and simple to replace.

Its normal if your ac is on, if its on off when your using the ac it could be that the refrigerant is low and will not be sufficient to keep it on.

1996 Ford Mustang AC

I don't know about the part #. But the low pressure switch is on top of the accumulator, maybe the compressor is not cycling due to low refrigerant. If you are low on refrigerant the low pressure sensor will shut off the compressor.
