Some how the alternator doesn't charge the battery. Do a battery voltage check with both engine on and off, should be 12V ish off and over 13V on. You need to recheck your alternator replacement to see if it's correct, everything plugged in yes? All the wires and eye terminal bolted on? It is very likely that the alternator you changed not charging the battery at all that's why after 20min rolling on un-charged battery power it must go down.

"2003 Chevy Impala won't start". Car would not

The alternator is not charging,or the battery wont take a charge. If all accessories work fine when its running after you've boosted it,its likely the battery.

The truck stalled a few days ago. It was jumped and ran fine. Yesterday it stalls again, but won't the battery won't hold a charge. It was towed to the shop and they said everything tested fine once they...

sound like might have a prooblem with the charging system. if the altenator is not charging the battery while driving then when the battery voltage gets too low (prob around 10volts) then the computers will shut down, then when jump started it gets some power back, and when the battery is charged will all work fine for a while.
does your model have the voltage gauge in the dash? should be over 12 volts when engine running, 14volts is a good charge rate. and should stay up above 12 all the time, with lights on air condon etc...
and altenators can be funny, work sometimes, and not atother times,

you may have killed the battery .try chargeing it over night on a low 2 amp setting that battery needs a deep charge to work properly.

Truck won't start however once i get a jump it is

checke your altenator for charge. if the altenator is putting out more than 10 volts your truck will still run but your battery will not charge , a good altenator will produce 13.0 - 14.25volts .

Car starts with jump and drives but wont start by itself

well if the altenator is charging it will run after getting a jump, you replied you put a battery charger on it but that dont mean the cold cranking amps are good or it could have a dead cell. I would have the battery tested for sure. If you didnt drive far after jump the altenator may be bad but having the battery charged and still does it tells me it is least likely. If the battery tests good the cables could be corroded under the sheath where you cant see. There are other reasons but from what you have posted sounds like you need a battery most auto stores test them for free (load test also)
