When the lights are on there is a issue, somethings not working correctly, may have two issue's ABS and Track control are the same module 4x4 is another system.Scan for faults then diagnose what the fault points to.
I'm not familiar with this particular model but it sounds like you ran the motor past the track limits. You will have to take it apart again and reset the motor onto the track, as well as reestablish the track limits for raising and lowering the sunroof. I'm not sure how familiar you are with doing this kind of work, but you would do well to get a factory shop manual in order to do it correctly.
It's not a particularly brilliant system. When you hit the switch, the motor will keep running until it hits the contact on the track that cuts the power. If it doesn't, or the contact is in the wrong place, it will run off the track and then just spin. This true for both directions. Did you notice either of these when you replaced the motor? The shop manual should be able to tell you how to set them correctly.
the glass in the door window is not normally glued in the regulator track but is pressed in the rubber with the use of soap which dries out and that means that the pressure of the metal is what holds the glass in place. There will be difficulties if the window guides are incorrectly adjusted and the glass is allowed to go up an angle instead of straight up.. Normally the track at the back of the door is fixed and the front track is adjustable to hold the glass correctly
If it is able to open fully, but only closes part way it probably just needs to be lubricated. White lithium grease will do the trick. Get it in a spray can with a tube that can be attached to the spray nozzle. There is a set of tracks for the glass and one for the sunshade.
Fully open the glass, then spray some into the track where you can see the roller in the track. Move the glass forward part way, then spray some into the track at the back end of the glass. Now work the glass back and forth, open and close to distribute the grease.
After a few times it should fully close. Once fully closed, open fully then close fully. It ought to work correctly now. This worked for my Lincoln MKX and also for a Ford ZX3 sunroof.
You might need to do the same for the sunshade track before the glass will operate properly.
Recommend to do this annually. It doesn't require as much when regularly maintained.
this can be a few things, you may have a bad motor, or a broken cable to motor or seat track and last maybe a broken track, the best way to diagnose would be to remove the seat flip it over while still conected, meaning; remove the bolts at the bottom of the seat then push seat back toward the rear seat this way you can see the track, now move the controls as you watch the track,it may go sideways instead of straight back or foward this will show you what side is not working from there you can see if its a cable broken or track or motor not turning .
Check the alignment and where the window is clamped to the regulator to see that it is correct.
I had an issue with one of mine where the bottom half of the track was rusted and the window would bind. I cleaned out all of the rust and greased it - worked for several years.
Check the voltage output of your current power pack. If the output is anywhere between 12-16 Volts DC, you can use a Automative battery charger, preferably a 10 AMP model and it will supply more current to reach additional track. You just have to try it to see what works.
I had a same problem with my windstar. I found the kids somehow slipped a toy down in the track and it was jamming from this. Oh these kids sometimes. Check your door track throughly to see what is in the track. The track runs on the top as well as below the floor. Hope this helps you.
This will happen if one side has jumped the running track. this will happen in this case. On most set ups, the motors will be on each side of the track and, if one side starts to malfunction or, jump the track, it will create this situation you have here.
You can correct this by extracting the seat and resetting the track and running assembly.
