Why don't i have power to my ignition or fuel pump on my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The problem could be a bad ignition switch. I would start by checking ALL the fuses - both under the dash and under the hood. The under hood fuse panel should also have a fuel pump relay. You may want to replace that to see if it helps.

This morning my car would start then immediately die after a second or two. even when i gave it gas it would just rev up and die. it did like that for a while, now even when we try to start it, it wont do...

It sounds an awful lot like it's not getting fuel. I would guess a clogged fuel line or fuel filter. Use a fuel pressure gauge to check the pressure in the fuel bar.

Jeep cherokee cranks but no start

this is a fuel problem, fuel pump is bad, or fuel filter is clogged up. check to see if fuel pump is working. check fuses and relays if it does not work. to rule out a bad fuse or relay.

1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee not getting power to coil

I don't work on Jeeps, but the Rangers have a power relay for the ignition. You might want to try asking at Autozone or O'reillys if the Jeep has any relays. It might be worthwhile to check the fuse panel to see if something blew that might control 2 or 3 things including the ignition. Hope this helps you.
