Check your pcv valve usually if it gets plugged it will blow oil out where it can.the pressure builds up in crank case thats the pcv valves job to relieve the pressure

Hi, I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8, a few weeks ago I noticed oil leaking from the passenger side of the engine.

Sounds more like a valve cover gasket if it leaks on one side. If the oil leaks down the back look at the intake gasket.

I have a 2005 Ford F350 6.0 Diesel and It wont start after the motor gets warm. It also starts rough when cold. When it is running it runs great. Any help would be appreciated.

I had this same issue and luckily my F350 2006 was still under warranty. Basically there is a high pressure oil system that has a tendency to leak internally. You won't see any oil leak. When cold the oil has enough viscosity to keep the pressure sensor from not allowing the engine to start. When the engine is warm the system doesn't reach required pressure to allow the engine to start. In short it's a Ford dealer repair. Good luck.

Battery light came on this AM on my way to work....2004 F350 6.0

Alternator .. very well could be. u may also have a paraistitic
drain on the battery. a quick and easy way to test is to use a test light and put the prong on the on the postive battery cable and ground it out to a clean bolt on the engine.

I have a 2004 range rover hse. I received a "stop engine oil" message. I just had my car serviced and had a oil change from the dealer 2 weeks ago any ideas?

check the oil level at once, sounds like a filter is leaking or the drain plug....if so, do not drive it, rather, have it towed back to the dealer...

Leak somwhere in the tranny coolant system

hello! judging by the key words in your statement, i assume your coolant has an oily type residue in it? very slimy?...tranmsisison oil coolers rarely fail on your type vehicle. it is more likely that your engine oil cooler has ruptured and has allowed the intermix of fluids. if that is not your concern, disregard and assume my ADHD has kicked into high gear!..by the way...your ford 6.0 diesel came with a manufacturers warranty on the engine of 5 years, 100,000 miles (with $100 deduct) if you are in these parameters...see your local Ford dealer!

Oil Leak

My sons 01 Aurora kept saying low oil, but there was no leak and we had the oil changed the day before. After looking in the owners manual, this car takes 7 1/2 quarts of oil when you change the oil and put in a new oil filter. The mechanic claimed he put 5 quarts in and checked it but he couldn't of. Over a week and hundreds of miles later the oil hasn't dropped at all!
