Check your rad fluid level again. The first time you checked it, did you also top it up? If so there may be air in the coolant lines, either from the hoses on the rad or heater blower hoses. This can be caused when pump and thermostat was replaced. When the engine is cool, take the rad cap off, fill the fluid level, check that your overflow is at the cold level and start the car. You may need a catch basin under the bottom of the rad, below filler cap to catch overflow rad fluid. As the engine warms, the fan should kick in and thermostat should open causing the fluid to exchange into the heater blower. If there is air in the line the air will appear in your rad as just that, air. The fluid level will drop. With the engine still running, Manually top up the rad again until full and wait for the fan and thermostat to open again. This time you should not need top up. Turn the car off and let cool. Once cool, check the rad fluid in the rad is full and the overflow level is at cold. This may solve your problem. Let me know how it goes.

2004grand prix oil pump location

It's inside the oil pan, under the engine. 3.8 engines aren't that bad to replace. I won't do 3.4 engines.

1999 grand prix gtp second cooling fan will not turn on

How hot is the vehicle running? The second cooling fan is programmed to operate only, like the first cooling fan, at a predetermined engine temperature. It varies by model, if I remember correctly however I think it is 226F for the fan to turn on, and at some point if that does not begin working the second fan will turn on.

2004 Pontiac grand prix gtp won't start- fully

You need a new starter solenoid. It is essentially a heavy duty remote switch that is activated by your ignition key switch. The solenoids get stuck or don't conduct well after 6 to10 years.

If you have heated seats then there is a likelihood that they are not turning off and can be difficult to tell or not when you get in the car and the sun has already been on the seat.
When they do not shut off when the motor is not running they draw enough power to drain a battery over night.
My 02 GTP had this problem and as a matter of fact it got hot enough to start burning me so I pulled the fuse. It is a 15amp fuse located in the glove box compartment, the diagram for it's location is on the inside of the fusebox cover.

Make sure your cooling fans are coming on when the temp heats up. Are you talking about a leak inside the car or outside? Inside is usaully a drain tube for the A/C stopped up. Outside, look for a water pump or intake gasket.
