If it's not turning over, does nothing or maybe clicks when you try to start, you may be looking at starter, bad battery, alternator, bad battery cables. You don't give any description of exactly what you've checked or anything.

Heater core

heater core is spraying coolant because there is a line connected to your heater core that comes from your radiator witch is how your heater core gets its heat to defrost windows or heat your car via your motors coolant temperature that is why heat in your car is not instant when you turn it on and you have to wait for a min or two

I changed the battery in my 2001 grand am ....now it won't start

mine does the same thing, but my security light flashes. I was told that it is the security system on the car not recognizing the key. The key I am using is the original key for the car though. I was told that a quick (but not so quick) fix is to open the door, put the key in, turn it on but don't start it.... set for roughly 10 minutes so the car will reset itself. It works everytime but is a pain in the ****. Was told the only way to completely fix the problem would be to put a new motor in it.

96 pontiac grand prix gear shift moves but wont go into gear unless you move the car by hand then it clicks and will shift

Are you saying the automatic transmission will not shift into gear or the shifter won't move into the correct position?

It sounds like you have transmission problems but it could be that your linkage is loose or defective. Not enough information to give you a good starting place.

Remote start not working 2006 grand prix

To get the remote start going again, I remembered a time when my Explorer phob would not open the doors automatically, I was told to insert the key and toggle it from off to "run" (not starting it, but having the radio and lights come on) position about 4 - 5 times to reset it. I tried that with the car, and it worked!!

Thanks,
Jane
