Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
The light would be off the next time I started.
Then it would be light off, but on a slow right turn the abs pulsation would start. Now it pulsates sometimes without the light on when braking slowly going straight
I took it to a repair shop and was told the following:
Suspect control module intermittent failure
Unable to scan vehicle for faults
OBD2 not working.
They said it was very expensive to fix and just drive it and ignore the light I an concerned that this is poor information to follow. Any help would be great Thank You
HAVE THE ABS SYSTEM CHECKED FOR CODES FIRST. I SUSPECT YOU HAVE A HUB WHEEL SPEED SENSOR BAD. AT FIRST THEY WILL HAVE AN ERRATIC SIGNAL THEN THEY SOMETIMES QUIT ALL TOGETHER. THE SYSTEM THINKS A WHEEL IS SKIDDING THAT IS WHY THE ABS ACTIVATES.
IF YOU HAVE A HUB WHINING THAT IS A POSSIBLE PLACE TO START.
