When the airbags deploy, there is a charge on the seatbelt retractors that also deploys you need to take it to the dealer to replace the retractors

SOURCE: it says my seatbelt is not on and airbag is

Take it to a dealer and get it fixed. Do not mess with airbag sensors on your own if it deploys you can be seriously injured.

Why is my airbag light on

If the airbag it's been deploy , check the crash sensor , if comes on during driving, some cars the seatbelt on passemger side its integrated , disconnect the batter before you go messing with it, depending on year make model, autozone will scanned it and can turn it off, if after a drive cycle comes back on,check crash sensors seatbelt plugs, or plugs on the airbags itself.hope this helps

Airbag light on dash--able to flash codes 53, 43, 32... What to these refer to?

53 second row left seatbelt sensor (subfault)
43 third row left frontal stage 3 deployment control (subfault)
32 second row left frontal stage 2 deployment control (subfault)
Yes parts related seatbelt sensor and a collision sensor.
Two questions has this car been in a collision, did the airbags deployed, is the seatbelt not retracting. This is a serious problem if you have a collision there will be no protection

How to Reset airbag light

  • Most likely you replaced the clock spring and air bag module right? Well when the srs deploys you also have seatbelt pre-tensioners that are part of the whole retractor assembly and cannot be repaired. Ie either side retractors are not working right , then you need to replace according to chrysler corp.

HOW DO YOU CUT OFF AIRBAG LIGHT

Many Hyundai's had recalls on the airbags and seatbelt's. If your airbag light is on it is a indication that something is wrong with the module, sensors, or clock spring and may not deploy properly in the event of a collision. For this I recommend you have this addressed by a technician. This is not so much a do it yourself item. For airbags I don't recommend simply cutting the light. I recommend having it fixed.

2003 Tiburon front seat belts that are connected to Air Bag system. Can those be substituted for regular retractable seat belts we replacing due to air bags and brakes deploying? OR do you have to replace...

you must replace seatbelts of the same type as they work in conjunction with the airbag sensors.just before the airbags go off the seatbelts retract(milleseconds)to pull any slack tight, and you back into the seat,

Hi....I have a 2005 Dadoge Caravan. Our airbag

no, the pre tensioner goes bad(I say your probably have over 100,000 miles on this car), and it is a problem with dodge caravans, plymouth voyagers. You need to check the chrysler web site for recalls on caravans. this may have been on there,

SRS light blinks 3 times

u will have to replace those vehicle impact sensors...remember some vehicles are different . never had to do it the past doesnt always mean its not the problem now...there is also more than those 2 front impact sensors in that vehicle..i know there are a couple inside the vehicle as well. under the front carpet and seats..the impact sensors inside the car are for ur side impact airbags and can be bad or reading deployed even if they didnt blow..good luck ...
