Code P0303 on a 2.2 2007 malibu

Testimonial: "I know what the code is 0303 on the 2.2 Malibu , I have swapped the coils number 3 with number 2 replaced the plugs with ac platinum gap set at 0.42 I drove it a bit over 5000 k's .. a few days ago the lite came in in dash I checked it was the same code misfire on number 3 cylinder I out the lite out in dash it may misfire again in a day a week 3 days or a month its intermit.. I also bought cleaner cleaned in intake changed the air filter changer oil and filter . I have used 2 bottles of lucas injection cleaner 3 ounces to a tank of gas couple time I added a bit more about 4 or 5 ounces to a tank of gas . A few times the engine lite came on but when I go out in the morning and start it the lite goes out even with the engine lit on showing the misfire it just misfires then picks it up again and starts firing again . I scanned the injectors with engine running all seems to be working fine . got me puzzled Where is the ICM ignition control module ITS NOT ON TOP OF THE ENGINE LIKE THE EARLIER 2,2 A FRIEND HAS AN ION the ignition control module is on top or the engine its about 4 inches long 2 or 3 inches wide with t holes to bolt it on and a wiring harness plugs in to it my 2.2 don't have that nor is it like that .but there has to be an icm to boost the power to 45000 volts to the plugs like a coil on the old cars .."
