This is a system which is driven by an amplifier and servomotors which open and close flaps depending on your settings. I think the air outlet servomotor may have failed . See here p58
My 2003 Toyota Camry AC often starts blowing hot air and the AC light starts blinking. I don't know why the following process works, but it does. Using the temp selector (left) reduce the temperature all the way down to Max Cold and then push the Auto button. It will start blowing out very cold air. After a little while push the temp selector to the desired temperature.
One of your rear ligh bulb are out. Turn all your lights on and then step on you brake have someone do it for you and look at all the light there is a bulb out in the rear. Hey If I fixed ya give me FIX-YA rating thanks. GOOD LUCK
