I had something similar on my old 92 dakota

In my case it was the rear only abs hcu unit

Your rubber hose goes to either the brake tube from
the front of the truck ( rear feed) or to as you said some
other brake component.

You should be able to determine where the leak is &
if you have to replace a component unknown to us,because of rust & leaking- the dealer will be the source

The auto parts stores stopped having intellegent life about
25 years ago, they can't keep up with technology & your dealing
with young non car guys.

At the dealers parts counter they will show you on their computer
a picture of your frame & unknown part- if you even need it

Most likely you will be fabricating a rusted brake tube, hang in there

Replace fuel filter in 1984 mercury couger

It should be under the car between the gas tank and the engine.
If you follow the fuel line you should find it. Its usually under the driver's floor depending on engine size.

Im buying a 92 couger ,the key wont start it somethings broke inside .the steering is not locked can i hot wire it without messing something up??

You can just replace the lock cylinder. Can you get the ignition into the run position? Dash lights on? Hot wiring it is not as easy as it sounds, but replacing the lock cylinder and fixing it is fairly easy.

I have a 92 nissan maxima that is leaking brake fluid directly from the anti-lock brake system, the system where all brake lines come together. When the brake is pumped a tiny bit fluid shoots out.

you may have to replace the abs controller thats leaking, you must clean it off and then pump the brake pedal and watch for the leak, if its coming from the lines then they can be thightened, but if its from the housing of the unit then you have to replace it. hope this helps.

Brake line diagram

Brake Lines and Hoses
Double-walled steel line is used in the hydraulic lines between the brake master cylinder and the front tube connector, and between the brake master cylinder and the flexible brake hose at the rear wheels.
Double-flared brake lines provide good leak-proof connections.
When replacing hydraulic brake lines, hoses, or connectors, tighten all connections securely. After replacement, bleed the brake system; refer to Section 206-00 .
The wet appearance of the outer cover of the rubber brake hose is referred to as "sweating." This is a normal condition for neoprene rayon braid hose and is not a sign of leakage or cause for replacement of the hose.
