Yes, you can. you will have to take the rocker cover off. first, undo the hose's from the cylinder head. take of the HT lead [ make you HT lead with numbers 1 to 6] Number one sparkplug closest to the radiator.

Try changing your starter motor relay under the hood or its possible the starter has simply went out. if high mileage is present.

Purchase for $1,000 a 1992 7 series with head gasket problem???

Well you could have as much as $1000.00 into fixing the head gasket, could be the head gasket, could be a cracked head. If the head is ok, you'll probably want to have a valve job done. If the car is in good shape and doesn't have alot of miles, it maybe worth it. I would definitely evaluate the rest of the car, before buying.

I have a 2003 bmw x5 4.1...I noticed that I have white smoke coming from the tailpike. The car wasn't running hot ?

sounds like its water vapour!
could be a head gasket starting to fail or the head is warping!

I need head bolt specs for a 1992 bmw 325 i

I presume you want torque setting. If so here is

BMW 6 cylinder engine
According to my manual as follows:

cyl head to engine block
stage 1 30nm(22ft-lb)
stage 2 + 90 degrees
stage 3 + 90 degrees

cyl head to lower timing chain cover 10nm (89in - lb)

Loosening sequence is from oustside to inside crossover and tightning from inside to outside.

follow the hose from the radiator and where it end usually is where you can access it there are like 3 bolts to take out and really simple to do just make sure you use the gasket sealer when you install it good luck..ps buy new ignition.
